The primary mission of the Simi Dabah Foundation is to donate sculpture to qualified public and nonprofit organizations for permanent installation on their properties, enhancing the setting in which the sculpture is placed and providing the public with the experience of enjoying public art.
Through the sale of sculptures, the Simi Dabah Sculpture Foundation is able to maintain the sculpture gallery and donation program, and, in addition, provide funds to qualified nonprofit organizations in their fundraising efforts.
The Simi Dabah Sculpture Foundation is classified as a 501(c) (3) public charity organization, Federal ID #47-4442020.
About the Sculptures
Sculptures are selected from Simi Dabah’s studio in Joshua Tree, California where more than 500 sculptures are displayed on 8.5 acres of land. The recipient is responsible for the transport and installation of the donated sculpture including all associated costs and following donor guidelines and any government requirements.
The sculptures range in size from 6 inches to 32 feet in height, from gallery pedestal pieces to dramatic outdoor architectural installations, many weighing over a ton. The steel surfaces are left in their natural unfinished state and allowed to continue rusting to a warm patina. These non-representational sculptures are left untitled, inviting the viewer to interpret the work. Click on Installation to see examples of installed sculptures. Click on Gallery to view some of pieces of art available for installation.
